Bio

Silphium is an ethereal, gothic style band influenced by the Cocteau Twins and shoegaze English bands of the 1980s. Bioluminescent is Silphium's first EP, which was entirely written and produced by Kevin James Salveson. The band utilizes the vocal talents of Germain Lefebvre (Lara Ausensi) who performs via the software VST Shevannai from Best Service. Also used were XLN's AD Drums as well as NI's Guitar Rig 5. Even an old Creative AWE PC 32 soundcard was used for some of the guitar tones!
